The Boston Film Festival closed out the 33rd annual program on Sunday, September 24, 2017 with an elegant dinner celebration hosted by Frank DePasquale at his Assaggio Restaurant in the North End.

The big winner was Damacus Cover, with six awards including Best Film, Best Director, Best Actor, Best Actress, Best Cinematography and Best Ensemble cast. Anne Heche and Mike Vogel participated in a special presentation panel for NBC’s The Brave on Saturday, as well as Jonathan Rhys Meyers and Director Daniel Berk discussing the making of Damascus Cover, which made its World Premiere at the film festival.

A screening of Dabka followed with Barkhad Abdi joining Director Bryan Buckley for the premiere and Q&A. Olivia Culpo walked the red carpet on Friday with her boyfriend, New England Patriots Danny Amendola in support of her film American Satan, along with Augie Director James Keach prior to their respective premieres.
